Magic the gathering (Plains) Optimistic Scavenger #0288 - Duskmourn: House of Horror - MTG Card (English) Uncommon

Optimistic Scavenger #0288 is an uncommon white Creature — Human Scout from Magic: The Gathering’s Duskmourn: House of Horror set. It costs just  to cast and has a base power and toughness of 1/1. Its Eerie ability triggers whenever an enchantment you control enters the battlefield and whenever you fully unlock a Room, allowing you to put a +1/+1 counter on target creature. This makes Optimistic Scavenger a strong one-mana option for enchantment-focused decks, especially those that repeatedly trigger enchantment abilities or use Room cards to build up creatures over time.

Featuring artwork by Brian Valeza, Optimistic Scavenger captures the eerie atmosphere of Duskmourn: House of Horror, where survivors explore a dangerous supernatural environment filled with strange discoveries. Its low casting cost and repeatable counter-generating ability can make it a valuable early play that grows as your game plan develops. This standard non-foil printing is a useful addition for MTG collectors and players building white-based enchantment, Room, or +1/+1 counter strategies.
