Magic the gathering (Island) Mechan Shieldmate #0065 - Edge of Eternities - MTG Card (English) Common

Mechan Shieldmate is a Common blue Artifact Creature from Magic: The Gathering — Edge of Eternities. This Robot Soldier combines defensive strength with an ability that rewards artifact-based strategies. Its Defender ability makes it a reliable early blocker, but it can become an attacker whenever an artifact enters the battlefield under your control during that turn.

With a mana cost of just two and 3/2 stats, Mechan Shieldmate offers an affordable creature for decks that regularly play artifacts. It is particularly useful in limited formats and casual artifact-focused builds, where triggering its attack condition can turn an early defensive creature into an active threat.
